On Sunday 15th February 2015 a large congregation gathered at St Swithun’ s church for the service of remembrance for Ella Kissi-Debrah and all children who have left us too soon.

The Bishop of Woolwich the Rt Revd Dr Michael Ipgrave took part in the service which marked the second anniversary of Ella’s passing. Many of her favourite hymns were included with two of them sung by the Soprano Mairead Sheerin who is a supporter of the foundation in Ella’s name. Particularly poignant were the testimonies read out by Ella’s mother Rossy and the father of Henry Beaumont.

During the interval the congregation had the opportunity to walk around the prayer stations dedicated to all children victims of tragedy around the world accompanied by reflective music. HisĀ Grace Bishop Michael Ipgrave praised the strong faith of Ella’s mother, brother and sister who set up the Ella Roberta Family Foundation to support families of children with asthma and research into this condition.
