Rosamund addresses Clean Air South delegates at the University of Southampton

On 16th July, as a guest of Professor Stephen Holdgate, Rosamund visited Southampton where she delivered two talks for Clean Air South, a new partnership to tackle air pollution across central southern England. Rosamund spent the morning with Clean Air South delegates at the University of Southampton’s (UoS) Future Towns Innovation Hub. She then met medical students, nurses and consultants at University Hospital Southampton. At UHS, Rosamund also visited the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Southampton Clinical Research Facility to see trials that are improving treatments for children with asthma and other conditions. She was introduced to Nikita, a 13-year-old who is part of a trial for children with severe asthma.

Permanent Statue for Ella Roberta Unveiled in Lewisham, London

Members of the public donated to create a permanent statue of Ella Roberta Adoo Kissi Debrah, which was unveiled today in her hometown of Lewisham. Ella is the first person in the world to have air pollution recorded as her cause of death, and the statue will reside in Mountsfield Park, close to Ella’s home and the South Circular Road, the emissions from which caused her tragic death at the age of 9.

Rosamund attends the ULEZ 1 Year Report launch

On 7th March 2025, as a guest of the Mayor of London, Rosamund attended a launch to hear the results of the first year of the ULEZ expansion to the whole of London.
